In 2019, RBC Future Launch and Riipen launched a partnership with the goal of increasing access to high-impact work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities for Canadian post-secondary students Our shared mission: to help prepare learners, particularly those from underserved communities, for the Future of Work. By the end of 2022, the RBC-Riipen partnership has delivered over 27,000 online WIL experiences, to a wide diversity of learners and educational partners across Canada with the potential of delivering over 250,000 by 2026.

I.T. Business Analysis October 2025

Our students have the skills to create and manage organizational process change as well as an understanding of how to gather, document, and communicate stakeholder requirements. Students are well suited to recommend and evaluate solutions, provide quality assurance criteria, perform some data modeling and project management. We are looking to create a first-time mentorship opportunity for our students by pairing them with a skilled business analyst at your company who can mentor and support our students through a small project.

AI Integration Consulting for Emerging Businesses
This experience connects learners with emerging businesses eager to explore the integration of artificial intelligence into their operations. Acting as consultants, learners will analyze business needs and design actionable AI adoption strategies that balance innovation with feasibility. By collaborating with real businesses, learners will apply their classroom knowledge in practical settings, offering insights into customer engagement, marketing personalization, process automation, data analytics, and supply chain optimization. This cross-disciplinary experience leverages the strengths of both business and computing students to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Event Coordination and Project Management
This experience is designed for learners specializing in Event Planning and Management, equipping them with practical skills to support industry professionals in executing successful events. Learners will apply their organizational, communication, and time management skills to real-world projects, enhancing their ability to coordinate logistics, manage communications, and ensure smooth event operations. By engaging in this practicum, learners will contribute to projects that require meticulous planning and execution, providing tangible benefits to participating companies.

Winter 2026 Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion Placements
WELL-756
The Workplace and Wellness Health Promotion program, facilitated by Centennial College's School of Community and Health Studies, is one of the first graduate certificate programs of its kind in Canada. As such, it enjoys a respected national and international reputation and is recognized by leading employers. The Workplace and Wellness Health Promotion program will prepare students to promote the total well-being of individuals and groups within corporate and community contexts. If you have a health and wellness related project, bring on one or more students to be your interns for 14-weeks to help. Students are available for 462 hours of placement over 14 weeks, beginning January 2025. The placements are on an unpaid basis. This experience is designed to bridge classroom knowledge with industry-relevant projects, preparing learners to contribute effectively to engineering teams.
Consult for Impact: Real-World Consulting for Social Good
Consult for Impact is an experiential learning opportunity that encourages the application of theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Non-profit organizations and social start-ups will have the opportunity to receive pro-bono consulting services . Our business students are passionate about providing meaningful impact and want to apply their consulting skills, tools, and methodologies to advance the mandate of organizations.
