3rd and 4th year undergraduate human resource management specialists working in 3-5 person teams will conduct academic research to develop an actionable strategy (with specific recommendations) to solve a labor relations/employee relations challenge faced by your organization, stakeholders, and/or clients. They can use scientific information to recommend strategies on how to manage employee mental health & stress, train your stakeholders on advocacy skills, train your clients on collective bargaining skills or enable your employees to prepare for arbitration.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Final deliverables include:

  • A 15-minute live video presentation of key research findings and recommendations with Q&A.

Project examples

Based on organizational information, student teams will conduct academic research over the course of a semester and develop an actionable strategy that addresses your labor/employee relations challenge.
