Details

The BeaYOUtiful Foundation is dedicated to empowering female and non-binary children and youth ages 8 to 14 across Canada through self-esteem and mental wellness programming. To sustain and expand these initiatives, the foundation seeks assistance in identifying and applying for relevant grant opportunities. This project involves researching potential grant sources that align with the foundation's mission and objectives. The goal is to compile a comprehensive list of grant opportunities, including deadlines, eligibility criteria, and application processes. By doing so, the foundation aims to secure funding that will enable it to continue providing valuable programs that foster self-esteem, leadership, and personal growth among Canadian youth. The project will allow learners to apply their research and writing skills in a real-world context, contributing to a meaningful cause.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a detailed report of potential grant opportunities for the BeaYOUtiful Foundation. This report should list at least 25 viable grants, complete with application deadlines, eligibility requirements, and a brief summary of each grant's focus. Additionally, learners will draft a sample grant applications for 5 to 10 of the identified opportunities, demonstrating their ability to effectively communicate the foundation's mission and needs. This will provide the foundation with a solid foundation for future grant applications.
